MC Quality Seafood is a family business, owned and operated by Michael and Cheryl Curmi. MC Quality Seafood specialises in Australian quality seafood purchased personally by Michael each morning at the wholesale fish markets.
Michael’s face may be familiar to many: prior to opening MC Quality Seafood, Michael spent 14 years at Schwarze Seafoods, also here at Dandenong Market. Michael also spent four years at Mike’s Seafood at Queen Victoria Market.
Michael’s focus is providing exceptional customer service and the highest quality seafood. Michael is involved in every aspect of MC Quality Seafood, from filleting fish to assisting customers to select and purchase seafood. Michael is up at 2:30am every Market day to head off to the wholesale fish markets to select the best quality and freshest fish for his customers.
In addition to a delicious range of seafood, MC Quality Seafood is also home to an oyster bar, where customers can dine on freshly shucked oysters with their choice of sauces – as if plucked straight from the ocean!
Visitors can find MC Quality Seafood in the top end of the Meat Fish & Deli Hall, next to Sam’s Spice & Grocery.
