MC Quality Seafood is the newest fishmonger at Dandenong Market. A family business – owned and operated by Michael and Cheryl Curmi – MC Quality Seafood specialises in Australian quality seafood purchased personally by Michael each morning at the wholesale fish markets.
Michael is a familiar face to many. Prior to opening MC Quality Seafood, Michael spent over a decade working at markets including Dandenong Market and Queen Victoria Market.
Michael’s focus is on providing exceptional customer service and the highest quality seafood. Michael is involved in every aspect of MC Quality Seafood, from filleting fish to assisting customers to select and purchase seafood. Michael rises at 2:30am every market day to head off to the wholesale fish markets to select the best quality and freshest fish for his customers.
In addition to a sumptuous and delicious range of seafood, MC Quality Seafood is also home to an oyster bar, where customers can dine on freshly shucked oysters with their choice of sauces – as if plucked straight from the ocean!
This much-loved stall is open every Market day from 7am on Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays and 9am on Sundays.
