Meet Lirim from Lirim’s Market Fresh.

​Lirim is a third-generation small business owner who took the reins from his dad when he turned 18.
​
​Lirim grew up helping both his father and grandfather on their family farm and running farmer’s market stalls on school holidays and weekends.

In 2003, Lirim’s grandfather had the opportunity to trade in a friend’s market stall at a local farmer’s market. Given the experience they had within the industry and the enjoyment they had working together, the family were inspired to purchase the stall that they currently work in together.

It was here that the family launched their 18-year-old small business, Lirim’s Market Fresh
​
​Lirim has previously attempted other careers such as electrical work and engineering however nothing compared to the thrill that he gets from meeting new people at the Market, all while working alongside his family.

Now Lirim loves selling affordable and fresh produce ​to his community right from his stall at Dandenong Market.
