Dandenong Market Chair Julie Busch was named Corporate Citizen of the Year at the City of Greater Dandenong’s Australia Day celebrations over the weekend.
Ms Busch was recognised for her significant service to the community, particularly her tireless work as Chair and Non-Executive Director at Dandenong Market for more than seven years. She was presented with her Award by City of Greater Dandenong Mayor Jim Memeti.
In a career spanning more than three decades, Ms Busch has championed the need to strengthen diverse communities, promoting inclusion through numerous paid and voluntary roles. She uses her platform to consistently reach out to positively impact others.
This is a well deserved honour, recognising Ms Busch’s outstanding contribution to Dandenong Market, both as Chair and a valued weekly customer.
“She is a passionate believer in market shopping and its place as the heart and soul of a community,” Ms Jennifer Hibbs, Dandenong Market’s General Manager said. “Dandenong Market is incredibly proud of Ms Busch’s tremendous contribution.”
