Are you ready for The Harley-Davidson® H.O.G.™ Thunder Ride?
One the largest congregations of Harley-Davidson® motorbikes ever seen in Victoria will descend on Dandenong Market on Sunday 6 November.
It will be one of the biggest Harley-Davidson® gatherings of its kind in Victoria, attracting hundreds of Harley owners.
Organised by the Dandenong Chapter of the Harley Owners Group™, this spectacle is two years in the making.
The convoy will finish the ride at Dandenong Market around 11am, where everyone is welcome to join in the fun.
The Harley-Davidson® H.O.G.™ Thunder Ride not only attracts a patriotic, leather-loving crowd but the FREE event will cater to families too. Children will love to watch the bikes cruise along, many with Australian and Harley flags waving behind them.
Every participating bike will be on display at the Market all day. There will be a Show and Shine exhibition and a performance by the popular tribute band, The Screamin’ Eagles.
It’s a great social day out for families and everyone is invited to!

When is the event?
The 2022 Harley-Davidson® Harley Owners Group™ Thunder Ride is on Sunday 6 November 2022. We can’t wait!
What is the exact location?
The event is at Dandenong Market, corner of Cleeland and Clow Streets Dandenong.
What are the parking arrangements and directions?
Parking is free on Sundays. The Terrace and Clow Street car park will be dedicated for riders participating in the Thunder Ride.
Where does the ride start?
There are various muster points for each participating Harley Owners Group™ chapter. The ride will come along Princes Highway, turning into Clow Street and arriving at Dandenong Market approximately 11am.
I own a Harley. Can I join the ride?
Yes you can! If you contact the Harley Owners Group™ Chapter in your area, you will be able to get more information. You can find your nearest Chapter by clicking here. You will be asked to complete an indemnity form on the day. We’d love for you to join in!
I don’t own a Harley-Davidson®. Can I join the ride?
This is a dedicated Harley-Davidson® ride but if you don’t own a Harley we’d still love to see you at the Market!
When will the ride finish?
The riders are expected to arrive at The Market around 11am.
Where is the best place to see all the riders?
There are some great vantage points at the Market. Security and Marshalls will direct people to areas dedicated to best viewing indicated on the map:
What are the parking arrangements?
All Thunder Ride riders participating in the Show and Shine exhibition will be on display on The Terrace. All other riders will park in the Clow Street car park.
I usually do my shopping at the Market on Sunday. Will I be inconvenienced?
There are always more visitors to the Market on event days, and everyone is welcome. The Market is open from 9am so we recommend arriving early. There will be minor delays for motorists in the area around 11am and we ask that you are patient and do not try to overtake and pass the large groups of motorcycles that will be on the road.
What is the expected weather?
We cannot predict the weather and the event will go ahead, rain, hail or shine!
What food will be served at the event?
There are more than 150 dishes to choose from our Market traders. There will also be tacos, burgers, baked potatoes and an African BBQ on the Terrace. Arrive hungry!
Is the venue licensed?
The Market Tavern on The Terrace will keep everyone hydrated. Alcohol is not permitted beyond the Tavern’s boundaries.
Do you cater for special dietary requirements?
Yes! The Market has vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free and halal options. There’s something for everyone.
Is the event family-friendly?
Yes it is! There’s something for the whole family – and it’s FREE!
How much is entry?

We love our four legged friends too but the Market does not allow dogs except for service dogs.
