From the delightfully spiced dishes of India to the fiery creations of Thailand, from the rich heritage of South Africa to the tropical paradise of Mauritius – and beyond – Curry Festival promises to be an unforgettable celebration of diverse curry cultures from around the world!

The Market will be paying homage to delicious curry dishes from every corner of the globe. Our multicultural line-up of street food traders is poised to take your taste buds on a thrilling adventure, presenting traditional and contemporary twists on the beloved curry. From the aromatic and fragrant spices of Mauritius, Vietnam, Asia, Sri Lanka, Thailand, India, Afghanistan, and more, prepare to indulge in a kaleidoscope of colourful, comforting curries that will ignite your senses!

Dished up alongside the spicy, culinary treats will be a jam-packed program of FREE cultural fun, flying the flag for all those countries that love their curry. Immerse yourself in the vibrant beats of Bollywood hits, courtesy of the exceptionally talented Australian-Pakistani singer Faisal Amlani. Experience the best of Sri Lankan dance performances as Shashila’s dance troupe showcases the rich traditions of the upcountry and lowlands of Sri Lanka. And that’s not all – groove to the high-energy tunes of the Nasheet Brothers. Maseeh, Qaiss, Tavab, and Zed, the band of brothers whose talents have enchanted thousands of fans worldwide. Born in Afghanistan, educated in Pakistan, and now proudly Australian, their performances have taken them across the globe, spreading joy and music wherever they go.

In addition to the culinary and cultural delights, be sure to look the part with intricate, contemporary henna art, and make lasting memories at our 360-degree photo booth. Your Father’s Day celebration will be as Instagram-worthy as it gets!
