Meet Mahdi from Venus Jewellery!

Originally from Iran, Madhi immigrated here with his family in 2012 as he saw an opportunity for his children to live in a nice and peaceful country.

Prior to his travels, Madhi owned a similar jewellery business in Iran which he owned for 30 years. 

“I like working with jewellery,” he said. “It’s clean and calming”.

There are two aspects to Venus Jewellery: jewellery sales as well as jewellery services including jewellery repair.

With jewels and materials sourced from the Middle East, Persia Turkey, Europe and all around Australia, you would struggle to find a piece like Mahdi’s anywhere else.

Venus Jewellery specialises in sterling silver, gold and rose gold jewellery, as well as jewellery resizing, jewellery repair and jewellery cleaning. They have an extensive range of handmade rings, earrings, pendants, bracelets and necklaces for both men and women. Almost all of their jewellery is made using sterling silver and other quality materials and stones.

Mahdi’s favourite products are the ones he makes himself including simple gemstone rings. However, he says it’s the birthstone jewellery that appeals most to his loyal customers.

The humble jeweller loves communicating with his customers, and ensuring he keeps them satisfied with his craft.

You can find Venus Jewellery at stall A11 in the Bazaar. Mahdi is open every Tuesday, Friday and Saturday from 8am and Sundays from 9am.
