Known for gourmet cheeses at amazing prices, Ross started working for his Uncle Charlie at Dandenong Market 30 years ago.
After watching the success of his uncle, Ross saw a great opportunity and a gap in the market which prompted him to start up his own stall.
Ross started as a casual trader and quickly decided he wanted to set up his stall full-time.
Being cheeky and resourceful, Ross got friends and family to call the Market every day and ask if the cheese man was there, eventually securing him a permanent spot.
Starting with one table at the market, Ross has grown his family business. Ross’ daughter Fran is a friendly face of the popular delicatessen and loves sharing recommendations for the perfect cheese board.
Ross Pecora Cheeses stocks a wide selection of cheeses including the ever-popular cheddar, haloumi, feta and soft cheese range.
This much-loved stall is open every Market day from 7am on Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays and 9am on Sundays.
