Meet Nuri from Colours of Love at Dandenong Market, our newest florist.

Nuri has always loved the fresh blooms industry and has been working as a florist for more than 20 years. But it wasn’t until November 2020 that Nuri’s Dandenong Market journey began.

Nuri loves to connect with the Dandenong community while they purchase flowers from his stall.

“It’s a very fulfilling business,” he said. “People are always buying flowers for someone else, for loved ones or for a special occasion. It brings me joy to be part of that exchange”.

Nuri, who sources his flowers from the Epping Market as well as local flower farms in the southeastern suburbs, specialises in creating beautiful bouquets using seasonal blooms. In fact, staff member Rui Guo gets quite the wrap for his stunning creations.

Rui, who was previously a butcher has picked up the craft very quickly despite not being trained. Choosing to take a leap of faith in his career change, Rui is immensely content working at Dandenong Market, learning more and more about floristry every day.

Colours of Love stocks seasonal flowers, plants and pots and offers beautiful bouquets from $25.

Colours of Love is open every Tuesday, Friday and Saturday from 7am and every Sunday from 9am.
