Voted ‘Dandenong Market’s favourite General Merchandise trader’ in the Melbourne Market Awards 2015, trader Louise Noy offers an extensive range of dried food, treats, bones, toys, collars and harnesses, coats and medications, Louise has everything you need to keep your pets healthy and happy.

Born in Melbourne, Louse and her family moved to Cobram where she spent 28 years. It was here that Louise’s love of pets flourished. She raised four dogs, 17 peacocks, 70 parrots over 100 budgies and a cat! Louise’s vast animal knowledge and love of birds was one of the reasons buses from Melbourne would transport avid bird watches to tour her family’s aviaries. Louise would also give lectures at the “packed out” Shepparton Community hall on “breeding” birds.

Whilst in Cobram, Louise worked at a Cheese factory and part time on the weekend at various country markets. With her love of animals, it was natural that she would get involved in pet supplies. Such was her love for the market environment that she left the factory after 17 years to work full time at the markets.

When her family returned to Melbourne 15 years ago, Louise started working at the Dandenong Market.

Louise’s love of the market, her customers and the electric atmosphere that gives her much pleasure and with her vast knowledge and passion for pet supplies, has made her one of our most loved traders. Always ready with a smile, Louise prides herself on providing her customers with a wonderful service and is always ready with a solution if required to their pet problems.

Louise specialises in dog treats, but her knowledge in all her products knows no bounds. Her motto is “Helping to keep your pets healthy and happy” and it’s a mantra she lives by.
