Harvest

Harvest is a new minimalistic mural created by artist Stephanie Cartledge on Rosling Lane.

Harvest at Dandenong Market

You might have noticed a new addition to Rosling Lane – an impressive mural created by Australian artist and muralist, Stephanie Cartledge. Known for her minimalist yet stylised approach, Steph draws inspiration from the unique beauty of Australia’s native flora and fauna, often incorporating organic forms into her work. Her artistic talent has led to collaborations with notable organizations like Art Aid, BirdLife Australia, BMG Australia, and Sesame Workshop.

For her latest project at Dandenong Market, Steph was tasked with creating a mural that celebrates the fresh market produce. The mural features bold depictions of snap peas, eggplants, beetroots, apples, and capsicums, reflecting the rich abundance of food that the market is known for. Her distinct minimalism and vibrant use of colour bring these everyday ingredients to life in an exciting new way.

Working with Judy Roller, Steph worked on this piece for approximately 5 days.
