Navi and Gary have an Indian background which they love to celebrate through the name of their business. The pair are from Punjab which translates to five rivers.

Navi, who immigrated to Australia from India has worked within the Market since 2007. When the business when up for sale she knew it was her opportunity to begin the small business of her dreams in a place she loved to call home.

Dandenong Market allows Navi to meet different and exciting people every day and she likes the challenge of owning her own business. The early mornings don’t phase her either – in fact she loves waking up before the sun to hand-pick her produce.

Navi says that parsley, kale, herbs and spring onion are proven favourites year long, but she has a soft spot for green produce.
