We welcome our newest trader selling the cutest, most unique, handmade and fun clothing for your little ones! Fabulous toddler dresses, shorts, skirts, and personalised t-shirts – meet the designer behind it all, Monica Quintanilla, trading as Rosalia Ruth.
Originally from El Salvador, Monica immigrated to Australia with her parents when she was just nine months old and has since grown a deep love for design, expression and creativity. She began sewing in 2019, taking after her mother as well as her grandma who was a seamstress. Rosalia Ruth began when Monica became a mum herself and started making dresses for her own daughter – which resulted in other mums asking “where she bought the dresses from”. This was when Monica realised her talents, inspiring her to establish her little business and showcase her designs and give a growing list of happy customers the unique clothing they loved.
Monica also stocks crystal bracelets and creates the most adorable accessories – including hair-tie scrunchies and even clip-on bow ties for little boys! She makes sure to source her fabrics locally within Australia, supporting other small businesses. As a regular customer at Dandenong Market, it’s always been a dream of Monica’s to open up a stall here, being a part of our “family-friendly, vibrant and fun atmosphere”.
You can find Monica in stall G16, The Bazaar working with her eldest daughter on Saturdays from 7am-4pm.
