Dandenong Market is celebrating Halloween with a day of ghoulish and ghastly fun on Sunday 3 November.

Take part in a trick or treat treasure hunt, workshops, Halloween games, face painting and scary hairy makeovers for kids. We’ll also have prizes for the best dressed!

Free entry. Free parking.

Halloween Activites

Trick or treat treasure hunt for kids

Pick up your bag, treat map and some initial sweets to get you started at M&Co Sweet Treats in The Pantry. Trek through the Market to find the participating trick or treat traders and make your way down to The Bazaar to join the spooktacular activities. Limited to the first 500 children. Starts at 11am and will run until stocks last.

Spooky craft workshop

Join our horrifying Halloween craft workshop to create wearable craft including masks and headbands as well as puppets, mobiles and treat cups from 11am-12:45pm!

Dandenong Market Halloween Parade

Come along to enter our Best Dressed Competition. We’ll have prizes for best dressed boys and girls and the Scariest Costume as well as certificates for all participants.

The parade will begin at 1pm in The Bazaar.

Magical wand workshop

Professional artist from Nook by Inglenook Emporium in your magical wand workshop. Design and paint your very own School of Witchcraft and Wizardry inspired wand. And who knows, you might even learn to transform muggles into toads from 1:15pm – 3pm.

Kids face painting

Free monstrous and mortifying kids face painting from 10:30am – 3pm.

Scary hair

Horrifying hair to make you look frightfully fantastic from 10:30am – 3pm.

Halloween games

Pin the spider on the Spider Web or Hoop the Pumpkin under the watchful eye of one of our Halloween Helpers from 11am – 3pm.

Spooky cinema

Sit back, relax and enjoy our G-rated spooky cinema. You can find our ghastly set-up in the Meat, Fish and Deli Hall right next to New Zealand Street Food. Movies such as Wallace and Gromit and Monsters Inc. will be screening from 10:30am-3pm.
