Dandenong Market will remain open under advice given by the Victorian and Australian Governments as we are classified an “essential service” which provides fresh produce to the wider community.
This includes fruit and vegetables, meat, fish and deli items, pantry goods and all of our bakeries.
Our ready-to-eat traders will be selling take-away only.
All of our non-food stalls have temporarily closed as directed by the State Government.
This includes all small businesses in the Bazaar, as well as our plant and flower sellers, key cutters, pet seller, tools and garden suppliers and our popular auction.
To help customers comply with the Federal Government’s social distancing laws –
Some traders prefer contactless payment (pay wave) over cash and other payment options.
Many of our traders use ticketing systems to allow customers to maintain a safe distance while ensuring they are served in order.
Please respect the personal space of others and practice good hygiene by washing hands often with soap for at least 20 seconds.
