Burger Eating Competition

Officially sanctioned by CompetitiveEating.com.au, we’re inviting professional eaters to participate in a burger eating competition at 11am on Sunday 27 May 2018 at Dandenong Market to win the grand prize of $500.

As an officially sanctioned and presented CompetitiveEating.com.au event, CompetitiveEating.com.au President Billy Boyd will be overseeing, MCing and judging the competition to ensure the event is of the highest quality and adheres to the highest competitive eating standards. In addition, this event will award additional championship points to ranked CompetitiveEating.com.au winning eaters.

To register your interest, please fill out the details below and we will inform you if you have been selected to participate. Registration closed on Tuesday 22 May at 23:59pm 2018. Successful applications will be contacted on Thursday 25 May 2018.

It is FREE to enter and participate. Burgers will be provided free to participants, no purchase is required.


The challenge

To be the first to finish The Double Chompster: a 900 gram burger including 5 burger buns, 8 beef patties, 8 cheese slices, bacon rashers, onions, pickles, ketchup, mustard and BBQ sauce.



The prize

The first fastest time to finish will win first prize of $500 and a trophy.

Second time to finish will win $200.

Third best time to finish will win $100.

This is an official CompetitiveEating.com.au event and will contribute to the rankings.

Contest rules

Registration closes Tuesday 22 May at 23:59pm 2018. Successful applications will be contacted on Thursday 25 May 2018.

All entrants must be 18 years of age or over.

To be declared the winner, the contestant must swallow all contents of the burger and show an empty mouth to the judges.

Contestants may use water to assist in the eating competition. 

If you vomit, you will be disqualified and must clean up after yourself!

If a tie occurs, a secret tie-breaker will take place.

All contestants are participating at their own risk. Any issues, medical, psychological, or otherwise, resulting from participation in the event are the sole responsibility of the contestant.

St John's Ambulance will be present to ensure participants safety and health of participants.

Participants must register prior to the event using the above form.

There will be a maximum of 10 participants taking place in one round.
