WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

When: Dandenong Market Street Food Tours run on select Tuesday, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

Duration: Dandenong Market Street Food Tours begin at 10.30am and run for 90 minutes.
 
Cost: Dandenong Market Street Food Tours range from $25 per person.
  • $25 for seniors, children (under 15), students and residents of the City of Greater Dandenong (proof required)
  • $45 for adults
 
 
Groups: Private and tailored tours are available on request (max 14 per tour).

What to bring: Other than yourself, we recommend to bring a bottle of water – there’s lots of walking, and lots of food! We have refill stations to cater.

Getting there: Please make sure that you arrive outside the Management Office at 40 Cleeland Street Dandenong by 10:20am for a 10:30am start
 
Parking: City of Greater Dandenong has a $1 per hour fee for parking at the Market, with a two hour limit. You may choose to move your car after the tour and continue to enjoy shopping at the Market, or 3 hour parking is available across the road from the Market on Clow Street, at $1 per hour.

  • The Bazaar: a shopping mecca of clothing, shoes, jewellery, handbags and toys.
  • The Terrace: delicious pub food in our outdoor dining area.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

Parking: There is plenty of cheap parking available at Dandenong Market. This includes 1000 parking spaces and ample undercover parking. The car park can be accessed from Clow Street or King Street. Charges and time limits apply.
 
Disabled parking areas: There are accessible parking spaces located in all car parks off Clow Street and King Street. The multi-level car park has lift and ramp access is available. The 12 accessible parking spaces are free providing you provide the correct sticker.
 
Toilets: There are public toilets at the south end of the Market in the The Bazaar, and at the north end of the Market in the Meat, Fish and Deli Hall.
 
Market map: Market directories are available from the Market Management office. Find the Management office at 40 Cleeland Street.
 
Free water refills: Find Drinking fountains for bottle refills in Market Square.
 
Market bags: Purchase Reusable market bags can from the Market Management office. Market trolleys are available from a number of market traders in The Bazaar.

Dandenong Market is the new home of Melbourne street art. transforming into an 8000 metre square gallery of modern street art.
 
Renowned street artists have already made their mark at the Market. This includes celebrated muralist and fine artist Heesco, designer and artist Bonsai, former illustrator as well as large-scale muralist Kaff-Eine and emerging artist Kenz
